Porting a Number into Onoff Business

Want to keep your existing business number while switching to Onoff Business? You can do that with our built-in number porting feature, directly from the B2B Console.

Porting your number allows you to:

  • Retain your existing phone number (mobile only)
  • Eliminate SIM cards and hardware
  • Access all Onoff features : call logs, recordings, team assignments, and more

How Number Porting Works

Number porting moves your professional number from another operator to Onoff Business without changing the number itself. Once ported, your number becomes a virtual Onoff number, fully manageable from the admin console.

Note: Currently, port-in is available for French mobile numbers.

Important : If you need to port a landline number, you’ll need to contact support@onoffbusiness.com. We will provide the required documents (mandate) and instructions to complete the porting process.

Steps to Port-in a Number

  1. In the Administration interface, go to Manage Team → Members to assign a number

Note: For more clarity, and to check if you have enough licenses available, go to Manage Product → Licenses

  1. Select “Use existing number”

  2. In the Portability request popup, enter:
  • Your phone number (French mobile format)
  • Your preferred porting date
  • Your RIO code (get it by dialing 3179 from the number you want to port)

  1. Hit “Start porting” to submit your request

Finding Your RIO Code

  • Dial 3179 from the phone you want to port
  • You will receive an SMS with your 12-digit RIO code
  • Paste the RIO code into the porting form to proceed

For business/enterprise subscriptions, the RIO may also be available in your customer dashboard, check with your current operator.

Porting Timeline

  • Porting usually takes 2–5 business days
  • Your number continues to work during this period
  • We’ll notify you when the transfer is finalized

After the Number is Ported

  • The number appears in your admin console as available
  • You can assign it to a user like any other Onoff number
  • It works immediately, including calls, SMS, stats, and all features

Important

  • A valid licence is required to use the ported number
  • Ported numbers are fully compatible with Onoff features
  • If your porting request is rejected, we will provide details and next steps
  • Landline Numbers: For porting a landline, contact support@onoffbusiness.com. We will send the necessary documents (“mandat”) and instructions to complete the port. You’ll also receive a notice explaining the full procedure.
