Number porting lets you keep your current business number when you switch to Onoff Business. The number becomes an Onoff number, managed from the console, and you no longer need a SIM card.
Eligible numbers
- French mobile numbers: request online from the console, as described below.
- Landline numbers: email support@onoffbusiness.com. We will send you the porting mandate and the procedure.
Before you start
- Get your RIO code: call 3179 from the number you want to transfer. You receive an SMS with a 12-character code. For business subscriptions, the RIO may also be in your operator's customer area.
- Check that you have an available license in Manage product > Licenses.
- Check that the line is active with your current operator and that no cancellation is in progress.
Request a mobile number port
- In the console, go to Manage team > Members and select the member who will receive the number.
- Start adding a number, then select Use existing number.
- Enter the number, your preferred porting date and your RIO code.
- Click Start porting.
Timing
- Porting usually takes 2 to 5 business days.
- Your number keeps working with your old operator in the meantime.
- We'll let you know as soon as the transfer is complete.
After porting
The number appears in the console as available. Assign it to a member like any other Onoff number. It works with every feature: calls, SMS, statistics, recordings.
Request rejected
If your current operator rejects the port, we'll tell you why and what to do next. The most common causes are listed in "Number port-in rejection reasons".
