What happens when I add a licence in the middle of my billing period?

You can add a new licence at any time—whether you are on monthly or yearly billing.
When you do, a prorated charge will automatically apply.

How prorated billing works

When you add a licence in the middle of your current billing cycle:

• You are only charged for the remaining days of the current period (month or year).
  
• The prorated amount is charged immediately at the moment you add the licence.
  
• At your next renewal (monthly or yearly), the full licence cost will be included in your regular invoice.
  

This makes it easy to expand your team without waiting for the next billing cycle.

Example

If you add a licence halfway through your billing month, you will only pay 50% of the licence price at that moment.
At the next monthly renewal, the licence will be billed at the full price.
