My number shows “resetting” or “initializing” : what should I do?

When you purchase a new Onoff number, it should appear within a few seconds on both the mobile app and the Web App.

If your number displays “Resetting” / “Initializing”, try the following steps:

1. Refresh the number activation

In the app or Web App:

  • Locate your number.
  • Toggle the ON/OFF switch under the number once (turn it off and back on).
    This forces a refresh and usually resolves the issue instantly.

2. Wait a few seconds

The reset process typically completes on its own shortly.
