Call Preferences (Web App)

In the Onoff Web App, you can manage several call-related settings from your account preferences. These options help you control notifications, audio quality, and call experience.

Where to find call settings

  1. Open the Onoff Web App
  2. Go to Account preferences
  3. Scroll to the Calls section

Available Call Settings

Disable ringtone for all incoming calls

When enabled, you won’t hear a ringtone for incoming calls in the browser.
You will still receive a browser notification, but without sound.
Useful if you work in a quiet environment.

Enable advanced noise cancellation

Reduces background noise during calls using enhanced audio processing.
It works best in noisy environments (office, street, shared spaces) by filtering out surrounding sounds.

If you are working in a very quiet environment, you may prefer to keep this option off, as strong noise cancellation can sometimes slightly reduce the natural clarity of the speaker’s voice when there is no background noise to remove.

Enable echo cancellation and noise suppression (legacy)

An older version of echo and noise reduction.
You can use this if advanced noise cancellation doesn’t fit your setup or device.

Enable HD calls (requires stable internet connection)

Improves audio clarity and overall sound quality.
For best performance, a stable and strong internet connection is required.

Rate the calls

When enabled, you may occasionally receive a short call quality survey.
Your feedback helps improve the overall calling experience.
