How to block a number

How to Block a Number or Contact

Onoff allows you to block unwanted callers or message senders directly from your call history, message threads, voicemails, or contact list.

Once a number is blocked, you will no longer receive a call or messages form that number.

Block a Number from Call, SMS, or Voicemail Logs

You can block a phone number at any time from your activity history:

1. Open the Calls, Messages, or Voicemails tab
2. Select the call or conversation you want to block
3. Click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
4. Choose Block number

The number is immediately added to your blocked list.

Block a Contact

If the number is saved as a contact, you can block the entire contact:

1. Open the Contacts tab
2. Select the contact you want to block
3. Click the three dots menu (⋮)
4. Choose Block contact

View and Manage Blocked Numbers

You can access your full blocked list anytime:

1. Go to Account settings
2. Open Blocked numbers

There you will see all blocked numbers and contacts.

Unblock a Number

You can unblock a number in two ways:

Option 1 — From Settings

1. Go to Account settings → Blocked numbers
2. Find the number in the list
3. Click Unblock

Option 2 — From Logs or Contact Details

1. Open the call/message/contact again
2. Click the three dots menu (⋮)
3. Select Unblock
