Number Usage and Credit Limits in Onoff Business
Onoff Business numbers are designed to be flexible and powerful, but how you use calls, SMS, MMS, and credits depends on your plan, license, and available balance. This guide explains what’s included in each plan, how international usage works, and what happens when you exceed your monthly allowances.
Licenses, Users, and Numbers in Your Plan
Onoff Business offers a simple structure that scales easily with your team.
Unlimited users
You can add as many users as needed to your account.
Only one active user is required to keep the account running.
One national number per license
Each license includes one national mobile number assigned to a user.
Available number types
From the admin interface, you can assign:
- French mobile numbers (included by default)
- French landline numbers

Understanding National and European Usage
National usage
“National” refers to the country of the assigned number.
For example, with a French number:
- National calls: calls to French numbers
- National SMS/MMS: messages to French numbers
European destinations
All plans include 600 minutes per month to eligible European countries, such as:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Denmark
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Ireland
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Poland
- Portugal
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
- And others
The full and updated list is available on the plans page.
Recording, Transcription, and Tag Limits
These features depend on your plan but do not consume credits.
Call recording storage
- Connect: 3 hours
- Advanced: unlimited
- Max: unlimited
Call transcription
- Connect: 1 hour per month
- Advanced: 10 hours per month
- Max: unlimited (fair usage up to 10,000 hours per month)
Call tags
- Connect: up to 5 tags
- Advanced: up to 25 tags
- Max: up to 25 tags
How Credits Are Used
Your included allowances are always used first. Credits are only consumed once those limits are exceeded.
Step 1: Included usage
Your plan covers:
- National calls and SMS/MMS
- 600 European minutes
- Unlimited international usage (Max plan only, for eligible destinations)
Step 2: After limits are reached
Once you exceed your monthly allowances:
- Calls and SMS/MMS continue automatically using credits
This applies to:
- Additional national call minutes
- Additional national SMS/MMS
- Extra European minutes
- International calls not included in your plan
Credit billing
Credits are deducted based on per-minute or per-message rates for each destination. Full rate tables are available in your pricing conditions and on the plans page.
