Introduction to the Onoff Business Chrome extension

The Chrome extension lets you call and send SMS from any web page: your CRM, your email, your internal tools. It detects the phone numbers shown on the page and lets you contact them in one click, without switching tabs. It is available with every plan.

Call from a web page

1. Hover over a detected number on the page (or open the extension window, which lists detected numbers).
2. Choose how to call:

• from the extension: the call starts right away, without leaving the page;
• via the web app: the web app opens with the number pre-filled, you just click Call.

During a call made from the extension, you can add notes, assign tags, see whether the call is recorded and stop the recording.

Send an SMS from a web page

1. Hover over a detected number and click Send SMS.
2. Write your message in the extension window and send it.

You can also enter a number manually in the extension window.

With your CRM

If your Onoff number is connected to your CRM, the call or SMS is logged in the CRM automatically, with your notes. You have nothing to enter by hand.

Extension settings

Numbers not detected

• Some sites prevent extensions from reading the page or starting calls. The extension tells you with a message.
• The extension works best with numbers in international format (for example +33 6…). In national format, only French and French overseas numbers are recognized. For others, the extension uses your account's country.
